The Reset: Non-Sleep, Deep-Rest

The Reset, Non-Sleep Deep-Rest. Two people resting on floor cushions in a softly lit room.
The Reset

The Reset is an invitation to pause.

Not to fix yourself.
Not to optimize.
Not to push through.

But to allow your system to settle —
so restoration, clarity, and creativity can emerge naturally.

What It Is

The Reset is a self-guided Non-Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR) or Yoga Nidra experience designed to support deep physical, mental, and nervous system restoration.

It is accessible to anyone.
No prior experience is required.
The practice is grounded in the body and lived experience — not belief.

You get comfortable, lie down or sit, and listen.

What’s Included

The Reset includes three distinct Yoga Nidra / NSDR practices, so you can meet your system where it is:

17 minutes

Reset

A brief practice for re-centering during the day — ideal between meetings, after travel, or when you need to quickly settle your nervous system.

20 minutes

Restore

A deeper practice focused on healing, repair, and replenishment. This session supports the release of accumulated tension and the restoration of the body’s reserves.

45 minutes

Create

A practice designed to support clarity, imagination, and creative flow — allowing insight and new possibilities to arise without force.

Each practice stands alone.
Together, they offer a complete rhythm of rest, healing, and creative renewal.

How It Works

Yoga Nidra and NSDR work by guiding the brain and body into deeply restorative states — similar to sleep, while remaining conscious.

Research and clinical practice show that 45 minutes of Yoga Nidra can be equivalent to several hours of deep sleep, allowing the body to replenish energy reserves, regulate stress, and restore balance.

This is not about effort.
It is about allowing the body’s innate intelligence to do what it already knows how to do.

What to Expect

You’ll be guided through a structured, somatic meditation that moves awareness gently through the body, breath, and layers of consciousness.

Common experiences include:

  • deep physical relaxation
  • mental quiet
  • emotional settling
  • renewed energy or clarity

Some people fall asleep.
Some remain aware throughout.

Both are welcome.

Many people choose to use these practices daily — others return to them when their system asks for support.

What This Practice Is (and Isn’t)

This is not visualization.
This is not manifestation through will.
This is not a peak experience to chase.

The Reset is about embodiment and restoration — returning the body and nervous system to baseline so clarity, creativity, and choice can arise organically.

When the system settles, insight doesn’t need to be forced.
